We are looking for a motivated intern to help us with fundraising. We are an all-volunteer organization with virtually no overhead, and our funds help us pay for the university entrance exams of students around the world.

With many sources providing scholarships once students are already accepted to college, the admissions process itself serves as one of the major financial chokepoints for students from families of modest means. That is what we attempt to solve with our merit-based testing grant.

Another problem is the lack of information about how to navigate the university system and admissions process. Our new educational wiki initiative was launched in the hopes of bridging that information gap at no cost with the help of volunteer content writers. We would like to begin recruiting a team of volunteer writers.

We are now looking for a volunteer who will help us with fundraising (for the testing grant) and with the recruiting of content writers (for the educational wiki).

This is a virtual opportunity and involves the following responsibilities:

Fundraising

-Write & design fundraising materials

-Develop a donor database

-Communicate with past and potential donors

Wiki Development

-Help recruit a core team of content contributors for the educational wiki

-Generate publicity

Volunteers may choose to help with one or both of those initiatives, depending on their availability and motivation.
