ORGANIZATION: Asian Counseling and Referral Service

Help the most visited and the most revisited food bank in King County distribute culturally familiar food

Number of Positions: 2

Position Hours: Thursday, and/or Friday 4-5 hours per week 8 - 12/1 P.M.

Requirements: Interest in serving a diverse community. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Age Requirement: 16 Duration Requirement: 3 months

Help setup and prepare containers and bags of food items. Distribute food with a group of volunteers at our food bank located in Seattle’s Chinatown / International District, which provides a central location for people to access culturally familiar food staples such as rice, tofu, ramen, fish and fresh produce. Our goal is to provide the community with fresh, nutritious foods to help client’s lead healthy lives!
