CERT volunteers will provide emergency preparedness and response assistance to their neighbors. Volunteers will receive 24 hours of training, including fire safety, disaster medical operations and light search and rescue. Must be a Carlsbad resident 17 years of age or older. Applicants MUST attend the orientation on Monday, Jan. 5 at 6:30 p.m. held at the Carlsbad Safety TrainingCenter, 5750 Orion Street. Class size will be limited to 25 volunteers.
