Orange County Health Care Agency public health clinics promote health and prevent disease within the community.
Volunteer Activities:
- Assist in the clinic's reception and front desk areas and provide customer service;
- Respond to questions from the public;
- Distribute paperwork to clients for completion;
- Answer phones and make appointments;
- Assist with filing and faxing of documents; and
- Process information using Microsoft Office Word, Access and/or Excel.
- Volunteers are fully trained and are offered an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and skills within a public health setting.
- Business or office attire is required.
- Clinic is located in the city of Santa Ana.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual language skills are required in Farsi, Arabic or Vietnamese
- Minimum age to volunteer is 18.
Volunteers must schedule a minimum of 15 - 20 hours per week for three or more months. Hours may be scheduled Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m
