To work at the main desk at our homeless outreach center, a person needs a willingness to meet and work with a variety of people. Computer skills are not necessary but useful. The desk is usually busy and volunteers may help up to 15 families in a 4 hour shift. Training is available.

Description
The Citrus County Family Resource Center is an all volunteer organization aimed at keeping families healthy and safe so that children do not need to be placed into the foster care system. We provide some material needs, we sponsor support and education groups, we provide mentors, we provide a 24 hr phone line support, and we have a homeless outreach center where meals and showers and other services are supplied
