Christopher Place Employment Academy is a 60 bed, 18 month residential employment program for formerly homeless men housed at the Our Daily Bread Employment Center.
At Christopher Place each man is engaged in the process of changing and recapturing his life. This includes securing permanent and stable housing, permanent employment and drug-free living. The program helps participants to become motivated, employed citizens who support themselves, their families and contribute to society in meaningful ways.
Adult volunteers are needed to work one on one with adult male clients to provide, mentoring, basic adult education, GED tutoring, and Internet & computer training. Help formerly homeless men transform into responsible and employed citizens.

Description
The Our Daily Bread Employment Center improves the lives of people in need by providing resources to help them achieve self-sufficiency through employment and housing. As Baltimore's comprehensive resource center for people who are poor, we combine the Our Daily Bread hot meal program, Christopher Place Employment Academy the Maryland Re-entry Partnership, case management, and an array of unemployment, education, referral and emergency services.
