Our Daily Bread is Maryland's largest hot meal program, serving more than a quarter million meals to the hungry of Baltimore City each year. We serve nutritious lunches every day of the year and breakfasts to seniors and individuals with disabilities each weekday.
Our Daily Bread relies completely on volunteers to serve an average of 700 meals per day.
Individuals or groups of up to 15 are welcome. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
Volunteer shifts run from 9:00am to 1:00pm, 7 days a week. There is a short orientation before service for new volunteers.

Description
The Our Daily Bread Employment Center improves the lives of people in need by providing resources to help them achieve self-sufficiency through employment and housing. As Baltimore's comprehensive resource center for people who are poor, we combine the Our Daily Bread hot meal program, Christopher Place Employment Academy the Maryland Re-entry Partnership, case management, and an array of unemployment, education, referral and emergency services.
