Description
The Trail Center , an all-volunteer organization, devotes one Saturday a month to constructing and maintaining hiking trails in the Bay Area. Our workday on Saturday, May 17 will be at San Bruno Mountain County Park north of the San Francisco International Airport in the South San Francisco/Brisbane vicinity. We'll be continuing the work we began on two previous workdays in January and March on a section of the 3.13-mile Summit Loop Trail and nearby connectors. Our work will include improving drainage, cutting back vegetation adjacent to the trail and repairing some of the tread. W e'll be meeting at 8:30am and will work until about 3:00pm and will try to coordinate arrangements for those wishing to car pool.
