Are you ready to immerse yourself in the magic of the performing arts and be a vital part of an engaging volunteer community? If you have a genuine passion for the performing arts and enjoy connecting with like-minded individuals, we invite you to become a valued member of the Phoenix Convention Center Theatrical Volunteer Program.
Exciting Opportunities Await You! As a volunteer usher, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests at the prestigious Phoenix Symphony Hall and the historic Orpheum Theatre. Your duties will include warmly greeting attendees, distributing programs, assisting with seating, and providing helpful information and directions.
Flexible Commitment, Year-Round Involvement With opportunities available year-round, particularly from mid-September to the end of May, you can easily tailor your schedule to accommodate your availability. Most performances take place during evenings and weekends, ensuring a convenient fit into your busy life.
Tailored to Your Preferences We value your time and offer a flexible commitment of 20 performances per theatrical season, averaging just two per month. You have the freedom to select the events that align with your interests and schedule.
Convenient Amenities Worried about parking? Don't be! We provide complimentary parking while you generously dedicate your time and energy to supporting the performing arts in Phoenix.

The Orpheum Theater and Symphony Hall are world-class facilities located in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Our goal is to focus on attracting an optimum mix of events that will generate positive economic impact, support community efforts and maximize activity for patrons and visitors in downtown Phoenix.
The Phoenix Convention Center is the premier meeting destination of the Southwest. We offer a unique business culture that strikes a balance between our state-of-the-art facilities and our exciting location within Copper Square, the cultural heart of downtown Phoenix.
