The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors

The Center is looking for individuals interested in providing crisis intervention and support to victims of rape, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse.
38 hours of training is provided to ensure preparedness.
Volunteers can also be useful in providing help with tasks not involving direct service to victims.
Opportunities include fundraising, public speaking, office administration and web support.

Mission Statement

The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors has been a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1996. We provide free crisis services to victims of sexual assault (both children and adults), their family members, friends, dating partners or anyone seeking services related to overcoming sexual violence. The Center serves an active role in the reduction and elimination of sexual violence in our community by hosting ongoing education and awareness events, as well as providing training and technical assistance to allied professionals and the community.

Description

The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors provides crisis services, individual and group counseling to sexual assault victims and their families as well as community educational and awareness programs.
