Looking for a volunteer opportunity with flexible scheduling? As an I CARE volunteer, you will assist DeKalb senior citizens in need by taking them to their doctor's appointments and providing caring companionship. Our volunteers use their own vehicles and choose the times they can volunteer - whether you can drive once a week or once every month or two, your efforts are appreciated by our seniors!

To serve senior citizens of DeKalb County, GA in need of free transportation to medical appointments. I CARE drivers provide respectful, caring companionship, thereby enhancing and promoting the quality of life, independence, and dignity of those served.
Description
I CARE is an interfaith collective effort which coordinates volunteer drivers with care receivers. We serve DeKalb County, GA residents 55 years and older who, for financial and/or medical reasons, have no other means of transportation to medical appointments. Our clients must be ambulatory.
