Playland always has need for cleaning, repair, and often has new projects under work. We need volunteers for occasional facility deep cleaning, special carpentry projects, and painting projects.

This volunteer opportunity is available when we are open to the public (weekends 10:00am-5:00pm) and for special events. A 1-year commitment is required for this volunteer opportunity.

Fluent in English: Must be able to fluently speak English.

Outgoing and Positive Personality: Must have a love of children, have a pleasant personality, and the ability to speak to large groups.

Photo Identification: All volunteers must provide valid legal photo identification (school IDs are valid for youth under 18-years of age).

Background: All volunteers must be approved to volunteer by a member of the Board of Directors and go through a background check.

Volunteer training is offered Saturdays from 10:00am through 2:00pm (MUST pre-register for training). This volunteer opportunity is not eligible for community service credit. Volunteers must be at least 18-years of age. Volunteer registration form required for all volunteers (can be found athttp://www.playland-not-at-the-beach.org/volunteers.html).
