After-school Tutor

Description

We provide services that are aligned with the goals of many organizations. Furthermore, our location allows us to reach out to the children in an area indicated by the Department of Children and Families with a 50% high school drop out rate.

An After-School tutor will be expected to assist staff members in teaching activities for K-12 students. He or she will provide homework assistance and meaningful support. By enlisting the children to different activities that realizes their full potential in art, sports, writing, or other fields--the youth After-School tutor is a critical part of the child's development. Therefore, assistance with projects focused on life management skills will also be apart of the work duties.

Skills

  • Must enjoy working with kids and experience working with youth (mentoring, tutoring).
