This is a regulated function requiring in house training. You are trained to position numbers on the donor blood bag and tubes before handing it off to the donor.Four hours of training and then on-the-job training will be required until the volunteer is comfortable working alone.

Description
Volunteers will be trained and educated on the procedures for volunteer involvement in the community, Red Cross Region, hospital/patient needs, blood suppy and blood drives. Volunteers will interact with other volunteers, staff and donors. Developing people skills, Board opportunites, leadership and team building.
