Graphic Designers
Talented Graphic Designers interested in designing:
- Course Catalogs: Catalogs distributed in or around February and July each year.
- Event brochures, postcards and supplementary materials: Specifically the Into the Wild event in September
- Create graphical elements for the www.bawt.org and www.climbingforkids.org websites
- Online promotional materials for Climbing for Kids and BAWT: banner ads, buttons.
- Assistance with re-branding of BAWT as we expand beyond the Bay!
Notes
- We have a team of 3-4 graphic designers that provide support to the staff on an as needed basis. One currently serves as "Art Director" to help guide overall work.
- We recently developed a style guide for both the Bay Area Wilderness Training and the Climbing for Kids (www.climbingforkids.org) to help unify our design work across platforms.
Skills
- Graphic Design skills: Graphic design software: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or Similar.
- Outdoorsy orientation: Familiarity with outdoors, youth and environment themes or ability to reflect these issues in design work.
