At the heart of this volunteer role is patient visitation and advocacy that provides an extra touch of TLC.

Volunteers meet practical, non-medical patient needs, provide advocacy when needed, and offer emotional support. Patient Ambassadors are uniquely trained to listen and simply enjoy spending time with patients in need of companionship.
In addition to the general volunteer orientation, this volunteer opportunity requires completion of a 7.5 hour course and 12 hours of on-the-job training.
This placement is a long-term volunteer opportunity with a minimum of 1 year/100 hours of service commitment. Volunteers are scheduled for a 3-hour weekly shift and shifts are availalbe during weekday and weekend hours.
