The Kitchen Assistant helps prepare breakfast and/or lunch for the Day Program participants.
- Prep work for cook
- Set tables
- Helps serve meals
- Helps clean off tables
- Interacts well with individuals with dementia and memory loss related diseases
- Interacts professionally with staff of Day Program
Skills
- Kitchen Assistant for Adult Day Care: * Experience in a kitchen environment. * Knowledgeable of the use of kitchen utensils * Ability to work with hands, ie:cut up fruit and vegetables etc. * Treats Day Program participants with respect and dignity * Has worked in a professional atmosphere * Asks questions when uncertain about tasks given
