As a mentor you will provide love and support to a young child in need. You will form a one-on-one relationship with a third - fifth grade student. To become a mentor, please commit to a student for twelve months and meet or contact your student weekly for one or more hours.
There are many opportunities to meet with your students. Through our organization you can spend time with your students during the After-School Program and/or Saturday Academy. You may also visit your student at their school during breakfast, lunch or any other HOPE worldwide events. Our mentoring program works with students from Seven Oaks Elementary School and Joseph Keels Elementary School.
There are also other volunteer opportunities such as MLK Day of Service, Love One Another Day, Transtions Homeless Facility, Babcock Center, Tucker Center Nursing Home, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Toy Drive and other episodic events in which you can serve!
