The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at the track and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.
Each Relay is coordinated by a dedicated group of volunteers called the Steering Committee. Join your local Relay For Life Steering Committee TODAY!

Description
The American Cancer Society prides itself on providing the public with accurate, timely and un-biased information on cancer. We have a webiste, a 24-hour National Cancer Information Center and many publications to keep up-to-date information. We offer community cancer control programs, many patient services and detection and treatment guides to ensure that cancer is diagnosed at the earliest possible stage when there is the greatest chance of successful treatment. We provide these services by holding our signature fundraisers Relay For Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Cattle Barons Ball put on by countless number of volunteers.
