A volunteer opportunity is available for an individual with web publishing and hosting skills to organize and update content to a website for a free on-line monthly newsletter about local news. A related activity would be creating advertising space on the website. The website reaches approximately 1,700 readers with links to other NJ not-for-profit organizations.

Mission Statement
To nurture and support Jewish religious, cultural and institutional life in Hudson County, New Jersey in the following areas:
a. Endeavor to prevent the loss to our community of synagogues and other institutions or assets.
b. Encourage Jewish people living in the Hudson County region to discover, affiliate with, participate in and support financially [sic] Jewish institutions.
c. Convene the Hudson Jewish Community Forum for members [sic] to meet and exchange views.
d. Facilitate coordinate activities, i.e. publicity, fund raising, planning and communications.
e. Disseminate information about Jewish resources
f. Promote knowlege and involvement.
g. Encourage social interaction among Jewish people
h. Engage in long-term planning.
i. Foster greater understanding and cooperation.
j. Cultivate involvement and skills of the youth [sic]
k. Raise and distribute funds for Jewish philanthropic, social, cultural, educational and religious purposes [sic] including to organizations with purposes consistent with the mission of Hudson Jewish.
l. Maintain an endowment fund for the mission.
m. Explore the advisability and feasiblity of establishing a Federation.
n. Review and determine the obligations and effectiveness of all agencies requesting appropirations from HudsonJewish and budget and control the disbursements to any such beneficiary agencies.

A NJ non-for-profit organization established to nurture and support Jewish religious, cultural and institutional life in Hudson County, NJ. The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, literary and educational purposes.
