Have you ever wanted to help guide girls of today to be tomorrows leaders? Troop leaders have the opportunity to help girls build confidence, learn new skills and make lasting friendships. The impact is local yet far-reaching; immediate yet long lasting. Troop leaders lead regular monthly meetings at a location, date and time of their choice. Help their troops learn new activities and participate within the community. Leaders don't need to have a child of their own or to have been a Girl Scouts themselves. They need to be a kind, caring, judgement free mentor. Your caring presence and authenticity are incredible gifts to share with the next generation of girls. Volunteering for Girl Scouts is a fun opportunity to be a role model just by being yourself. Council support, meeting plans and training are available to all leaders of Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ on GSCSNJ.org or GirlScouts.org
