Annual Christmas Candlelight Tours at Ashtabula
The Pendleton Historic Foundation stages two historical reenactments per year and an annual benefit gala. A large troop of actors, reenactors, script witers, and volunteers are needed for reeactorments and special events.

Male & female reenactors of all ages and races needed for a major historic reenactment "Spirits of Christmas Past at Ashtabula" staged during first two weekends in December at Ashtabula Historic House in Pendleton. This annual event has won the Confederation of SC local Historical Socities Award of Merrit for two years.

Each script provided will be approx. 6 minutes long. Appropriate costumes will be provided, if needed. Reenactors can elect to volunteer for a single day or for the entire event Saturdays evenings from 5:30 - 8:30 PM and/or on Sunday afternoon 2-5 PM.) Scripts should be memorized in time for a dress rehearsal on Wednesday evening before the first weekend in December. Script writers and a director is also needed. The onlly requirement is enthusiam and an interest in bringing history to life. Acting experience not required.
