Internship Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as an English Language Curriculum Development Intern. As a skilled volunteer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our mission and creating awareness about our initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development

  • Collaborate with the curriculum development team to create engaging and effective English language materials.
  • Design lesson plans, worksheets, and activities that align with educational standards and objectives.
  • Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and techniques to enhance the learning experience.
  • Tailor materials to meet the diverse needs of learners from various backgrounds and proficiency levels.
  • Review and revise content based on feedback from educators and stakeholders.

Online Mentorship

  • Actively engage in virtual mentorship, fostering a supportive online relationship with student(s) abroad by providing guidance on extracurricular educational

Qualifications:

  • Passion for education and community development
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong proficiency in English language and grammar.
  • Experience in curriculum development, preferably in English language education.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to create engaging learning materials.
  • Ability to speak another language is a plus, as it enhances our capacity to create inclusive and culturally relevant educational materials to diverse communities.

Our mission is to instill a generational difference among villages around the world by bringing hope through books. We have village libraries all over the world including in Peru, Nepal, Belize, Ghana, and more. You can work with us internationally by working in one of our libraries, or you can work with us domestically by helping coordinate new library opportunities.
