Get some exercise! Meet some new people! Stop for a donut!
Do you enjoy walking and socializing with people? Vision Loss Resources' St. Paul Walking Group needs you! We are looking for volunteers to help guide members of the Walking Group who are blind or have low vision. This is a great way to support your community and get to know some new people! Walkers meet one morning every other week from 8:30 to 11:00 in downtown St. Paul. We gather for some stretching exercises, then walk for about an hour around the skyways before heading back for coffee, a snack and conversation. Then we walk some more!
This is a new group! We can schedule any weekday, but we need you! Are you part of a group or club that would like to walk with us? Would your company or church like to sponsor this community project?
Call or email today! Reimbursement for parking is available. Please contact Volunteer Services at VLR to learn more about this fun opportunity! 612-843-3401 or volunteer@vlrw.org.
