I'm in need of a Co-Coordinator for SuperHeroes! Join a special team within ARR's amazing volunteer group that focuses just on our tough to place dogs. We currently have four SH dogs, so this is a small but impactful role. 1) Build relationships with the fosters by meeting with them and their dogs virtually or in person. Answer basic questions with the fosters and check in frequently. In the beginning, we ask for weekly updates. This is best done on text. 2) Ordering items needed for the fosters from Amazon or Chewy. ARR covers the costs. 3) Contact for ACA if boarding is needed for one of these dogs. This can sometimes be for other dogs too. 4) Find foster sitting as needed. I have a list of people willing to help out with this already. Coordinate Rover sitters and payment. The fosters find their own Rover sitters but we are a support for them in this process. Reimburse fosters for Rover payments. Check in on Rover sitters. 5) Process monthly GC payments to fosters and sitters as needed through Amazon. 6) First eyes on an adoption application. Then forward to me if you think there's a possibility that I can make it work. Process applications, emails etc... 7) Refer any and all behavior issues to me...this could be done as a group chat with the fosters but we could figure out how to handle this together. 8) Be the lead on advertising these dogs with Nicole Harvey and Linda Bolander for social media. Also, keep content fresh on their site. Coordinate advertising them on our volunteer's own Next Door accounts and other social media. Get new photos taken as needed (we have volunteers who are ready and willing to do this). Research new ways to advertise and promote these dogs! The volunteer job will take about 1-2 hours a week on average but there are many weeks when you don't need to do anything. Then there are weeks where you will be very busy! We already have a vet coordinator on the team so those responsibilities are covered. Over the last 18 months, I have placed 15 of these dogs in amazing homes! Amanda has found an amazing vet that works very well with these dogs and their individual needs. We have a few sitter options already in place, so that's manageable. All training and behavior needs will be covered by me. Our biggest need is someone who likes to build relationships with people and is willing to learn or already knows a lot about marketing, social media, and promotion work. Please reply here if you have any questions or are interested in the role. I'm happy to chat before you make a decision too. Sarah Bellora
