Calling all storytellers, writers, wordsmiths, English majors, and history buffs! Calling anyone who would like to celebrate the women who have made a difference in their lives!
WomensActivism.NYC aims to gather 10,000 stories of inspiring women from around the world in an open, crowd-sourced digital archive. All narratives gathered as part of this project will be permanently preserved in the Municipal Archives at the NYC Department of Records and Information Services (DORIS). Currently, we are just 500 stories away from our 10,000th story! Join us at our landmarked building - originally known as the Hall of Records - for a write-in.
