The Arthritis Foundation Pittsburgh Region is looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join our 2024 Jingle Bell Run Event Committee. Jingle Bell Run is the original festive race to support charity! Our participants dress up in fun, holiday attire, tie bells to their shoes and run to support those living with arthritis.

Volunteer committee members partner with the Jingle Bell Run Chairs and Arthritis Foundation staff to ensure that the event meets its community engagement and financial goals.

Committee member's responsibilities may include:

  • Attending regular committee meetings both virtually and in-person
  • Recruiting and outreach to new and past participants
  • Soliciting sponsorships and donations: financial and in-kind
  • Assisting with social media and communications
  • Sharing the mission of the Arthritis Foundation
  • Fundraising, recruitment and making connections

The ideal people would be willing to commit several hours each month between now and the event which will be held on December 7, 2024.

Please note that this is not a day-of event volunteer opportunity. This is for people who would like to join the planning committee to help drive up participation and reach our financial goals ahead of time.
