The Literacy Coalition of Colorado will offer 2 days of tutor training, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 6 & 7, 2015, for literacy tutors, teachers and administrators. Areas to be covered are English as Second Language/Civics/Citizenship, GED, ABE (math, reading and writing), and technology in the classroom. The training will be held at Red Rocks Community College, Lakewood. Workshops are recognized for credit by the Colorado Department of Education.

Description
The Literacy Coalition of Colorado supports literacy providers and offers training for educators, administrators and volunteer tutors through four annual training workshops. Volunteers are placed with literacy providers in their areas. Students and volunteers are referred to appropriate programs through emails and telephone calls.
