Novant Health Hospice is in search of junior volunteers to assist with everyday tasks in our administrative office at:
324 N McDowell Street

or

As a volunteer, you will work directly with the Volunteer Services Coordinator, Administrative Assistants and Medical Staff. Volunteers for this position will sit at the front desk to greet and let guests into the facility/unit. Occasionally you will be asked to participate in filing, sorting and other office tasks.

Providing care for a loved one who is sick and can no longer look after themselves can be one of the biggest challenges a family has to face. Our hospice care specialists provide care for terminally ill patients and their families. We know how sensitive these times may be, and our goal is to provide patients and their families with effective healthcare that will improve the quality of a patient’s last days.
We provide an individualized treatment plan to comfortably manage pain and physical symptoms of each need a patient may have. Our team is made of doctors, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, grief counselors, and volunteers that work together to help patients live life as comfortably and fulfilled as possible.
