Unlock a Young Person’s Future: Become a Youth Mentor!
Are you ready to make a real difference in a young person's life? Fearless Futures 2024-2025 is looking for dedicated volunteers and mentors to join our mission!
For over 40 years, NY Unlocking Futures has empowered underserved communities across New York City with award-winning youth programs and mentorship. Now, we're excited to introduce Fearless Futures, our newest initiative designed to guide high school juniors towards success.
Starting in late March, professionals aged 25+ can become mentors and support students through our proven curriculum. As a mentor, you'll serve as a source of wisdom and encouragement, helping students navigate high school and prepare for their future endeavors.

Description
Unlocking Futures, formally known as Youth at Risk is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring. Since 1985, Unlocking futures has helped HS students make college an option: we take them from failing grades to passing grades; and/or passing grades to top grades. We give them tools to win in life such as a Goal-directed focus and Shift at-risk behaviors to responsible behaviors
