Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position provides volunteer support with donor relations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Make phone calls to donors to express thanks for contributions and to verify contact information.
2. Carry out donor telephone surveys - using a prepared script - to verify donor information and to gain input regarding Cabrini publications, website, events and other donor interests.
DURATION OF VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENT:
This position is seeking an ongoing commitment of time over a period of a year of approximately 2-3 hours monthly. It can be carried out in Cabrini's Fund Development office and/or in the volunteer's office or home. Some calling would require the ability to work early evening hours.
Skills
Experience in customer relations, sales or telemarketing helpful. Good phone manner and ability to record notes from donor conversations essential.
