Would you like to make a pawsitive impact with your pet in the special needs community? Contact a Program Coordinator in your area to learn how to get started. Handler Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Have a valid AZ Fingerprint clearance card or Level 3 background check.
- Enjoys working with kids and adults with special needs.
- Actively advocates for their pet.
Available M-F during the day
- At least one year of age
- Owned by the handler for eight months.
- Current on vaccines or proof of titers
- Tolerates abrupt sounds and movements.
- Comfortable around medical equipment

Mission Statement
To provide Animal Assisted Therapy to individuals with special needs, allowing them the opportunity to build animal human friendships, while simultaneously working on individual therapy goals.
Description
We provide Animal Assisted Therapy to individuals with special needs in a clinical and educational setting. We work with Therapists as well as Teachers as a team to assist the children in reaching their personal goals.
