ReStore: Donation Receiving and Processing
Hours & Time Commitment:
- Loveland Habitat ReStore is open for donations Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM.
- Hours are flexible; minimum 3+ hours twice per week is preferred.
- Greet donors, screen donations, and unload all accepted materials.
- Supply donors with donation receipt upon request.
- Assist in loading purchased products for customers.
- Assist in loading and unloading the ReStore truck.
- Assisting in maintaining the receiving area and warehouse in a safe and attractive manner.
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move about the receiving area. Includes bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Description
Loveland Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit housing organization that has an overall goal to provide affordable homeownership and a decent place to call "home". We work with people in need, while striving to make affordable housing a matter of conscience throughout the Loveland area and around the world.
We work to provide a hand up, not a handout. Habitat volunteers build houses in partnership with low income families. The houses are then sold to the families at no profit and no interest.
To accomplish this, we raise money, recruit volunteers and work in partnership with low income people needing housing. We believe that by working at a local level, we can better use our resources and make an immediate difference in people’s lives.
We empower families to own their own home, and have income available for other basic needs.
