Volunteer Transportation Service Drivers provide curb-to-curb transportation to and from medical appointments for Indianapolis-area residents without other means of transportation. You will be driving a Red Cross-owned sedan, equipped with a two-way radio. Our clients are referred by their doctor, hospital, or other caregiver. The program is coordinated by a full-time dispatcher, who also takes appointments. Drivers will not be required to set appointments or provide physical assistance to clients. Drivers set their own availability, but the service operates during the day on weekdays.
