Join us Monday, May 20, 2024 for the 28th annual St. Jude Open at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. The St. Jude Open is recognized as one of the premier and longest-running golf tournaments in the Washington, D.C. area.

Twenty-eight years ago, Rick Shadyac and David Black partnered with Steve Buckhantz to start a celebrity golf tournament to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The inaugural April 1995 event that raised $40,000 may seem like yesterday, but this event has flourished over the last two-and-a-half decades and has now raised nearly $5.5 million for the kids of St. Jude.

We continue to dedicate this tournament to the memory of Richard C. Shadyac Sr. For over 40 years, Mr. Shadyac worked tirelessly for the kids of St. Jude. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and helped St. Jude become an internationally recognized institution.
