Tour de Cure is the premier cycling fundraising event of the American Diabetes Association(r) (ADA) that creates a sense of unity and shared purpose in the fight to end diabetes. The event has routes available for all ages and abilities.

We are seeking volunteers for our Tour de Cure: Northern California Planning Committee! The ride will b eon September 29, 2024, based in Palo Alto. Committee meetings are virtual, however volunteers should be local to the SF Bay Area. Volunteers must be willing to commit through September 2024. Meetings are monthly (and potentially more frequent in the final 4-6 weeks leading to the event).

There are many roles for a variety of interests and skill sets. Experienced cyclists are needed to help develop the routes, but biking experience is not required for other jobs such as day-of-event volunteer recruitment, marketing and outreach, event logistics planning, participant retention and more. All that is required is desire to work towards ADA's mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes, being a team player and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done!
