Tutors and Learners at work

Join Colton Public Library's Advance to Literacy program and become a Volunteer Tutor to help adults gain the literacy skills they need!

As a Volunteer Tutor, you will meet with an adult learner on a weekly basis to help them learn to read and write. These learners may range from wanting to develop their reading and writing abilities, to needing help with foundational literacy skills. No matter what level, as a tutor your time will be an invaluable gift to our learners and our community.

Training and materials are provided by the Colton Public Library. If you have a passion for reading and helping others, you're a perfect fit to help change someone's life.
