We are looking for volunteer tutors to join our Literacy Program specifically for reading skills. Our Literacy program is offering reading to assist adults and children with building reading skills. The schedule is flexible Monday thru Thursday between 10 am. - 4 pm. Sessions are one-on-one tutoring for 1 to 2 hrs. Description
Thea Bowman Center will provide educational, health, cultural and social services using a holistic approach with Mt. Pleasant residents. The Center will collaborate with other organizations to offer a safe, healthy environment and a range of services, including computer labs, a music school and other educational support programs. Thus, Thea Bowman Center will provide outreach to residents of the neighborhood that empowers, enhances, and enriches the lives of families in the community.
