For over 115 years, the American Lung Association has remained steadfast in its mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Guided by a strong moral compass, we continue to advance our mission as we always have - by combining education, advocacy, and research efforts.

We are committed to providing you with the most up-to-date information on all things lung health to help you as we move towards a world free of lung disease. We offer a number of programs that are designed to help people quit smoking, learn to live with and control their asthma, and prevent adolescents from smoking, just to name a few.

As long as anyone struggles to breathe freely, the Lung Association will be there to champion for them. Because when you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.
