Not-for-profit agency is seeking volunteers to join their Speakers Bureau. Volunteers will speak to community groups, schools, religious organizations and companies about issues of hunger and homelessness on Long Island, the services the agency provides and how others can get involved. All volunteers will receive the training and support required to successfully speak to the public on their behalf. Candidates must be comfortable with public speaking, have the ability to speak passionately and confidently to large and diverse audiences, be friendly, flexible, and able to work with the public tactfully, courteously and effectively.
