Team chiefs work with the FEMA to support the affected states and other agencies providing feeding, sheltering, bulk distribution, emergency first aid and disaster welfare information to the affected communities. Team Chiefs will be the primary point of contact at all assigned locations for the Red Cross and FEMA.

Some Tasks Include:

- Supervise and coordinate schedules for all team members at the assigned location.

- Prepare, submit and track all Action Request Forms with FEMA; report status daily to the ESF #6 Mass Care lead in the Disaster Operations Center.

- Identify gaps and shortfalls in Mass Care.

• - Must complete specific Red Cross training courses - Good interpersonal skills - Sufficient operations knowledge to provide a functional understanding of the procedures associated with the Feeding, Sheltering, Bulk Distribution and Welfare Information activities.
