THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN VOLUNTEERING WITH TEXAS HOME HEALTH HOSPICE!!!!

We are ALWAYS needing volunteers to help us with simple office clerical tasks including answering the phone, doing filing, addressing letters and generally assisting staff.

Though the work is not glamorous, you can learn much about the behind-the-scene issues that confront the hospice staff as they prepare to assist patients and their families cope with their End-of-Life issues.

Because our patients' privacy most be safe guarded, our hospice requires all volunteers to go through our volunteer training program.

This entails filling out an application packet, consenting to a background check, reading our hospice volunteer training manual, and thereafter attending a single 3 to 4 hour in-office training session. All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.

We truly value our volunteers and support them any way we can. We want you to have a great volunteer experience. If hospice still feels like a good fit for you, we invite you to contact us to learn more.
