If you like to share your time with children then consider volunteering to be a volunteer grandparent with the Green Mountain Foster Grandparent Program. Serve at sites such as schools, day care or pre-school centers, Headstart programs, recreation camps or clubs, or libraries depending on available openings. You will recieve a stipend, mileage reimbursement, a newsletter and on-going training to support your efforts. You can work one on one or in group settings and there is generous leave time, and often a meal included. Give some thought to helping out today's children to make their tomorrows better.
