We are looking for someone that wants to help our organization work with families with children that are experiencing homelessness. You will be the first face and voice for people who come to our guest center or call for assistance. Giving out community resources, gathering family intake information over the phone, taking phone messages for staff and providing a sense of hope are the main qualifications for what we're looking for. Does this sound like something you would get satisfaction from helping with? If so, please reach out. Training and support will be provided!

Mission Statement
The mission of Family Promise of Montgomery County is to serve homeless families with children by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, and compassionate assistance.
Description
Family Promise of Montgomery County is comprised of a Day Center that is a safe place to temporarily call "home". Here our clients receive case management services and assistance with job searching, as well as referrals to other social services to meet their needs.
The other component of the program is a network of host congregations and support churches who provide overnight lodging, dinner and breakfast, and hospitality for up to four families for one week host rotations.
