JA Finance Park provides middle & high school and college students with a hands-on simulation that lets students experience what adulthood might be like. The simulation issues each student a life scenario, giving them a career, salary, credit score, and family situation. Then, the students set their savings, budget for month, and then try to stay within that budget, paying all the bills while balancing needs versus wants. This is where we need volunteers like you! Each group of 4-7 students needs a volunteer to offer expertise and guidance about everyday life as an adult. No teaching experience needed! JA provides a one hour training on the day you volunteer which includes a short run-through of the simulation.

This spring semester, volunteer in April and May in Colorado Springs and Fountain. We are looking for volunteers to serve events in Colorado Springs on April 29th, May 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th (sign up at https://bit.ly/JAFPVolunteer). We are looking for volunteers to serve events at Fountain Middle School on May 14-17th (sign up at https://bit.ly/FPFountain). Email Joey Gavato at joey.gavato@ja.org for more information.
