The HSFA Board of Directors is seeking committed and visionary leaders to amplify its mission. Rooted in public safety, energized by volunteerism, and supported by civic and financial contributions, our impactful programs span public safety, energy security, and health and human services.

Who Should Consider This Opportunity?

  • Age & Eligibility: Individuals matured to the age of majority in Georgia.
  • Diverse Expertise: We value a myriad of skills. Whether you have a background in security, disaster preparedness, technology, finance, engineering, or any scientific domain, your expertise can drive our mission forward.
  • Inclusivity: HSFA believes in the power of diverse perspectives. We encourage nominations from individuals of varied ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and physical abilities.

Key Requirements:

  • Background check; the candidate may not have been convicted of a felony
  • A commitment to support our giving culture with a nominal annual contribution of $25, demonstrating allegiance to our collective vision.
  • Ability to attend monthly Board meetings.

Duration: Upon selection, Directors serve a meaningful term of four years, playing a pivotal role in guiding HSFA’s initiatives.

Energy demands of the future require us to collaborate with community partners and promote a progressive energy agenda with specialized programs designed to strengthen our infrastructure and workforce with green technology and fresh ideas;

Finally, our cutting-edge scientific research helps investigators better understand patterns of behavior and tactics of terrorists and criminals to give law enforcement the edge, and help ensure FREEDOM, SAFETY and PROSPERITY across our land...
