We are looking for a volunteer to help out in our Assistive Technology (AT) Department!

Here at United Cerebral Palsy of Eastern CT (UCP), we provide a broad range of services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities. One of our fastest-growing programs is our Assistive Technology Department where our goal is to help individuals reduce barriers, increase skills and capabilities, and gain/maintain independence. Assistive technology is any item or piece of equipment that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of people with disabilities in all aspects of life.

Our ideal volunteer will be able to volunteer approximately 4-5 hours per week and help with completing surveys, preparing handouts, setting up assistive technology equipment, and other similar tasks.

This is a perfect opportunity for a high school or college student looking for exposure into the human services field!
