Are you looking for an opportunity to help serve your local community? Look no further.
Here at the Newport News Restore, we are looking for volunteers with knowledge or wanting to learn about an array of topics from electronics to donor operations to processing. You are the creator of your volunteer schedule, it is as much of a commitment as you are able to give.

Our vision at Habitat for Humanity is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. A decent, affordable home provides families with the strength, stability, and independence they need to create a better life for themselves and their families. At the ReStore, all profits go toward building more homes. There are so many possibilities at the ReStore! Join the staff processing items, working the sales floor, assisting customers, unloading trucks, accepting donations and much more!

Description

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently-used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. The goal of the ReStore is to generate enough profits to build more Habitat homes for qualified, hardworking low- to moderate-income families, as well as to promote recycling. ​100% of the profits from the ReStores are used to build and sell affordable housing!
