BBBS of Grtr Cincinnati is seeking mentors to work with area youth. We cover Cincinnati, Clinton & Warren Counties, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. Several programs are offered. Community-Based (traditional Big Brother Big Sister) is looking for adults who will spend 3-8 hours a month with a child (can be weekly or bi-weekly) to give them support and social/recreational opportunities. The Site-Based program is looking for volunteers to meet with a student once a week either at lunch time or after school at a partnering school or Boys and Girls Club.
We provide support to volunteers with trained case managers, free tickets to some events, and monthly group outings for Community-Based matches. It's fun and easy to make a BIG Difference in the life of a child.
Current Needs
- Mentoring Children of Prisoners - a volunteer is matched with a child who has a state or federal incarcerated parent and the child resides in Ohio.
