Descendants of Olivewood,Inc. are looking for volunteers to assist with the clean up and restoration of Olivewood Cemetery a Texas Historical Cemetery located in Houston's First Ward Community, clean up is every first and third Saturday from 9-12 with weather permitting and entails clearing small saplings and brush, mowing of grass. Descendants of Olivewood,Inc. was formed by descendant to care for, restore and reclaim this abandon, neglected cemetery on saturdays with weather permitting Descendants of Olivwood,Inc. mow the grass, remove vines and weeds, plant flowers, and provide community service opportunities our organization is collecting the history of those buried in this designated Texas Historical Cemetery and providing education to the community
